Based on the most recent research, this seminar will provide information about prevention and intervention strategies for sexually offending children and adolescents. Emphasis will be placed on understanding and responding to sexual behavior of children, appropriate supervision of children who sexually offend, and the role of therapeutic care giving in the treatment of sexually offending children and adolescents.
A comprehensive presentation about sexual abuse including information about contributors to sexual abuse, effects of sexual abuse, dynamics of sexual abuse, and treatment of sexual abuse. Dr. Robinson has 15 years of experience working with sexually abused children and adolescents. The illustrations, activities, and case studies utilized in this presentation help participants understand the cycle of abuse and how it impacts foster children and adopted children.
